- The Conference
The S-LCA Conference is a biannual international event held since 2010, with the first edition taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark, with editions in France (Montpellier, 2012 and 2014), Canada (Montreal, 2013), United States (Cambridge, 2016), Italy (Pescara, 2018), Sweden (Gothenburg, 2020 ) and Germany (Aachen, 2022). The ninth edition will be the first to be held in the southern hemisphere and in a developing country (Brazil, Curitiba, 2024).
The event is promoted by the Social LCA Alliance, an association that aims to contribute to the Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment.
- Organization
The 9th International Conference of Social Life Cycle Assessment (SLCA 2024) is organized by the Federal University of Technology – Paraná (UTFPR), Federal University of Ceará (UFC) and Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG).
