Olho D'água - Laura Mazzottini Serra

Synopsis

Olho D’Água is a frame-by-frame animated short film that narrates the character’s journey in search of a water source inside her dream. It is an exploration of the dream as a refuge and restorative place, based on the individual experience lived within the quarantine dreams. It is a dive into the hollow atmosphere of the unconscious, which urges to travel and move around places, like water that rips through the bowels of the earth. The search for the waterhole is a metaphor for the inner journey of the search for the meaning and origin of the sadness and questions that afflict existence.
