Ritos de Passagem

Rites of Passage talks about the Saint and the Warrior, symbols of justice and freedom in Northeastern culture and their fight for the affirmation of their people. As they leave the living on Charon’s Boat, before the Angel and the Demo, they recall: the Warrior, the wanderings with the gang in the lawless backlands; the Holy One, the struggle to build a free and abundant life. Alive in the imaginary of the socio-cultural context in which they lived, they inspire popular expression in the cordel written and sung by acts of bravery and solidarity.
