Undergraduate
Undergraduate (e.g. Engineering) students can participate via the scientific initiation programs of UTFPR, i.e., PIVIC (as a voluntary) and PIBIC (with a R$700,00 scholarship). Informal voluntary participation is also possible, and a certificate of participation can be issued by the supervisor in case you achieve good performance. Undergraduate scholarships for specific research projects are seasonal and vary between R$780,00 and R$2.300,00. Our research supervisors are also members of the PRH program, which offers undergraduate scholarships of R$780,00 that can sum up with other scholarships and labor incomes.
Graduate (masters and doctoral degrees)
Our research supervisors are members of the graduate programs CPGEI, PPGFA, and PPGEEC. If you intend to join one those programs for a masters or doctoral degree in one of our research areas, we suggest you to contact us to discuss the possibility of supervision and for general guidances on the elaboration of a research proposal.
Post-doctoral residency
You can also be a post-doctoral researcher at LASSIP. Many cutting-edge research themes are waiting for highly qualified researchers for rapid implementation, analysis and publication. Sharing some of our theoretical and practical background while absorbing knowledge from external partners is in our best interest.
