Anima Ceará

The Festival had its first edition in 2018 and emerged to bring a significant part of Brazilian animation production to the public and professionals from Ceará, aiming at the interrelationship between Brazilian producers and directors and the promotion of new talents in the area of game animation and new media. , especially in the Midwest, North and Northeast regions. The idea is also to reveal northeastern animation and dialogue with the rise of Brazilian animation spaces internally and around the world. The selected films will compose the Brazilian Exhibition of Animation Short Films, which was designed to promote an overview of the topics discussed, techniques and demands of national production, providing a greater understanding of the paths that Brazilian animation is treading and challenging itself. in the imaginative and popular clipping of cinema. Short film works lasting up to 25 minutes, made using any animation technique, on any capture media, as long as they are in Full HD, with no restriction on theme or genre, can participate. It is a realization of Aguaboa Cultural and Irê Brasil and is in its 2nd edition, which was held remotely in 2020.
