Foram obtidos recursos junto \u00e0 SETI &#8211; Fundo Paran\u00e1 atrav\u00e9s de um projeto para atualiza\u00e7\u00e3o da infraestrutura dos Laborat\u00f3rios de Engenharia Biom\u00e9dica (Conv\u00eanio 12\/03, coordenado pelo Prof. Dr. Pedro Miguel Gewehr e tendo como vice-coordenador o Prof. Dr. Joaquim Miguel Maia), recursos de projeto junto \u00e0 Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Arauc\u00e1ria (Conv\u00eanio 314\/2007 &#8211; Projeto No. 9837, coordenado pelo Prof. Dr. Joaquim Miguel Maia), recursos de um projeto junto ao CNPq (processo no. 550727\/2007-8, coordenado pelo Prof. Dr. Eduardo Tavares Costa do DEB\/FEEC e CEB \u2013 UNICAMP e colabora\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisadores de outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es) e recursos de um projeto financiado pela FINEP (Convenio 01-10-0538-00), com suporte do Fundo Nacional de Sa\u00fade\/Minist\u00e9rio da Sa\u00fade (MS\/FNS\/UNICAMP n\u00ba 2210\/2008), que tamb\u00e9m conta com a participa\u00e7\u00e3o de pesquisadores de outras institui\u00e7\u00f5es, para desenvolvimento de um equipamento nacional de ultrassom para aux\u00edlio ao diagn\u00f3stico por imagens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Atualmente, o LUS-UTFPR vem atuando na gradua\u00e7\u00e3o e p\u00f3s-gradua\u00e7\u00e3o em v\u00e1rias linhas de pesquisa, entre elas ultrassom, com aplica\u00e7\u00f5es principalmente na \u00e1rea m\u00e9dica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O laborat\u00f3rio conta com a seguinte infraestrutura para realiza\u00e7\u00e3o das pesquisas dos grupos de Ultrassom e Engenharia Biom\u00e9dica da UTFPR:<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"594\" height=\"331\" src=\"https:\/\/utfpr-ct-static-content.s3.amazonaws.com\/utfpr.curitiba.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/138\/2023\/02\/verasonic.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-438\" style=\"width:344px;height:191px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/utfpr-ct-static-content.s3.amazonaws.com\/utfpr.curitiba.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/138\/2023\/02\/verasonic.png 594w, https:\/\/utfpr-ct-static-content.s3.amazonaws.com\/utfpr.curitiba.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/138\/2023\/02\/verasonic-300x167.png 300w, https:\/\/utfpr-ct-static-content.s3.amazonaws.com\/utfpr.curitiba.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/138\/2023\/02\/verasonic-270x150.png 270w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 594px) 100vw, 594px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">                                               <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\"><em>Aparelho Verasonics Vantage<\/em><\/mark><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quatro oscilosc\u00f3pios digitais Tektronix, modelos TDS3000 (1 un.), TDS220 (2 un.) e MSO 2024B com ponteira digital com 16 canais (1 un.);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uma balan\u00e7a ultrass\u00f4nica (Ultrasound Power Meter, Model UPM-DT-1) marca Ohmic para avaliar a pot\u00eancia ultrass\u00f4nica gerada pelos transdutores;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Um <em>phantom<\/em> de uso geral (<em>Multipurpose Tissue\/Cyst Ultrasound Phantom<\/em>) modelo 84-317 da Nuclear Associates para avaliar a qualidade de imagens de equipamentos de ultrassom de diagn\u00f3stico;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Um <em>phantom<\/em> de contraste e detalhes (<em>Contrast\/Detail Ultrasound Phantom<\/em>) da Nuclear Associates para avaliar imagens de equipamentos de diagn\u00f3stico;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Phantoms<\/em> para elastografia de mama e de pr\u00f3stata e <em>phantoms<\/em> de calc\u00e2neo (simulando tecido \u00f3sseo osteopor\u00f3tico e normal) da marca CIRS;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Phantoms<\/em> Doppler para avalia\u00e7\u00e3o vascular perif\u00e9rica, simula\u00e7\u00e3o de estenoses &#8211;
