de Inform\u00e1tica (DAINF) da Universidade Tecnol\u00f3gica Federal do Paran\u00e1 (UTFPR) c\u00e2mpus Curitiba.<\/p><p>O objetivo do projeto \u00e9 realizar a\u00e7\u00f5es para aumentar a representatividade das mulheres na \u00e1rea da Computa\u00e7\u00e3o, despertando o interesse de futuras estudantes e mantendo a motiva\u00e7\u00e3o daquelas j\u00e1 inseridas nos cursos de Engenharia de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o e Sistemas de elementor-element-ojqkdvh elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ojqkdvh\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Dia 08 de mar\u00e7o de 2013, uma primeira atividade foi realizada para discutir o assunto com estudantes do sexo feminino dos cursos de Engenharia da Computa\u00e7\u00e3o e Sistemas de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o da UTFPR Curitiba. Cinco mulheres, profissionais e de diferentes \u00e1reas da Computa\u00e7\u00e3o na cidade de Curitiba, compartilharam suas trajet\u00f3rias de vida com elas.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">A partir desta iniciativa o ent\u00e3o Centro Acad\u00eamico de BSI (Bacharelado em Sistemas de Informa\u00e7\u00e3o) criou a Diretoria Feminina. Quatro estudantes fizeram pesquisas sobre o tema no contexto da disciplina de Metodologia de Pesquisa. E assim, outros eventos foram realizados.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Era necess\u00e1rio nomear o conjunto de a\u00e7\u00f5es!<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Os professores Luiz Ernesto Merkle, Mar\u00edlia Abrah\u00e3o Amaral e S\u00edlvia Am\u00e9lia Bim, inspirados pelo nome da produ\u00e7\u00e3o da\u00a0C\u00e1tedra Regional UNESCO Mujer, Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda en Am\u00e9rica Latina para a edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 2013 da Campanha Internacional do Dia das Meninas nas TIC: <span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"http:\/\/segib.org\/es\/node\/8636\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Alicia en el Pa\u00eds de la Tecnolog\u00eda: Descubre, Participa, Crea&#8221;<\/a><\/span>\u00a0<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>buscaram uma personagem brasileira para representar o projeto do DAINF.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Foi ent\u00e3o que surgiu o &#8220;<strong>Em\u00edli@s &#8211; Arma\u00e7\u00e3o em Bits<\/strong>&#8220;.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">A Em\u00edlia que inspirou o nome do projeto \u00e9 personagem do escritor brasileiro Monteiro Lobato, uma boneca muito esperta que faz diversas arma\u00e7\u00f5es e aprende a falar. Assim, esperamos que o projeto desenvolva a\u00e7\u00f5es que permitam que as mulheres\u00a0&#8211; futuras e atuais estudantes e profissionais da \u00e1rea de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o &#8211; tenham voz e vez e fa\u00e7am arma\u00e7\u00f5es, mas arma\u00e7\u00f5es sempre para o bem comum, e arma\u00e7\u00f5es em bits.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">No final de 2013, o projeto foi contemplado pela Chamada No 18\/2013 MCTI\/CNPq\/SPM-PR\/Petrobras &#8211; Meninas e Jovens Fazendo Ci\u00eancias Exatas, Engenharias e Computa\u00e7\u00e3o &#8211; e, consequentemente, muitas a\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas em 2014 foram financiadas com os recursos recebidos atrav\u00e9s desta chamada.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Em raz\u00e3o da aprova\u00e7\u00e3o neste edital, o projeto fez uma parceria com o Col\u00e9gio Estadual Dr Xavier da Silva, vizinho da UTFPR, e algumas estudantes do primeiro ano do ensino m\u00e9dio al\u00e9m de uma das coordenadoras pedag\u00f3gicas, participaram diretamente das atividades do projeto. O principal objetivo das atividades realizadas em 2014 foi apresentar a \u00e1rea de Computa\u00e7\u00e3o atrav\u00e9s de suas diversas facetas, oferecendo oficinas de Banco de Dados, Intera\u00e7\u00e3o Humano-Computador, entre outras.
