Por meio de experimentos avan\u00e7ados, o laborat\u00f3rio analisa os mecanismos de deteriora\u00e7\u00e3o de materiais devido \u00e0 a\u00e7\u00e3o conjunta de corros\u00e3o, e desgaste em altas temperaturas e press\u00f5es. Al\u00e9m disso, o laborat\u00f3rio \u00e9 dedicado ao desenvolvimento de novas tecnologias, tratamentos de superf\u00edcie e materiais com maior resist\u00eancia, promovendo efici\u00eancia operacional, sustentabilidade e inova\u00e7\u00e3o nos processos industriais.
