A vis\u00e3o integrada entre as diversas \u00e1reas do curso \u00e9 obtida atrav\u00e9s dos conte\u00fados e da realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de projetos integradores interdisciplinares. Um diferencial da Engenharia Mecatr\u00f4nica est\u00e1 na inser\u00e7\u00e3o de disciplinas eletivas que o estudante pode realizar em outros cursos da UTFPR ou em institui\u00e7\u00f5es com as quais existem acordos de mobilidade acad\u00eamica. As disciplinas eletivas possibilitam que a aquisi\u00e7\u00e3o de novas habilidades e compet\u00eancias em \u00e1reas afins de seu curso, bem como em \u00e1reas que atendam aos seus interesses
