O acervo gr\u00e1fico rupestre aqui tratado est\u00e1 contido em nove s\u00edtios arqueol\u00f3gicos da regi\u00e3o do Serid\u00f3 potiguar e paraibano, Nordeste brasileiro. Trata-se, basicamente de conjugar uma an\u00e1lise das t\u00e9cnicas de execu\u00e7\u00e3o com a segrega\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1reas de concentra\u00e7\u00e3o gr\u00e1ficas isoladas e\/ou agenciadas recorrentemente dentro das manchas gr\u00e1ficas gravadas destes s\u00edtios. Dois atributos caracterizadores auxiliares, tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o levados em considera\u00e7\u00e3o, a geomorfologia dos s\u00edtios e do entorno, e a petrografia do suporte rochoso.
