Partindo da id\u00e9ia de que o teatro de anima\u00e7\u00e3o contempor\u00e2neo \u00e9 uma linguagem h\u00edbrida, cujas fronteiras se encontram borradas, e no interior da qual podem se agregar diversas influ\u00eancias vindas de outras linguagens art\u00edsticas como literatura, artes pl\u00e1sticas, quadrinhos e cinema, buscou-se destacar algumas destas influ\u00eancias a as caracter\u00edsticas que tornam tal fen\u00f4meno poss\u00edvel. O Cap\u00edtulo Primeiro trata da influ\u00eancia do teatro de sombras para os pr\u00e9-cinemas e para a obra de dois cineastas de anima\u00e7\u00e3o: Lotte Reininger e Michel Ocelot. O Cap\u00edtulo Segundo trata das caracter\u00edsticas do teatro de anima\u00e7\u00e3o contempor\u00e2neo e de sua dramaturgia e da influ\u00eancia do boneco para as Vanguardas Art\u00edsticas atrav\u00e9s da import\u00e2ncia do boneco para o trabalho de tr\u00eas encenadores\/te\u00f3ricos: Alfred Jarry, Edward Gordon Craig e Vsevolod Meyerhold. E o Cap\u00edtulo Terceiro trata de dois espet\u00e1culos da Cia.
